But if you’re feeling creative, you can add that personal touch and craft your own, weaving in materials from the garden for a naturally festive celebration.

Decorate Your Wreath
Start by giving your wreath a background: moss will do, or you can weave in soft sprays of evergreen spruce or ivy. Then build up the display: wire in pretty herbs like rosemary to add a spicy fragrance, and dot berries through the foliage: rose hips and holly berries are always winners. Papery orange Chinese lanterns (Physalis alkekengi) look very handsome, as do pinecones, especially if you spray them silver or gold. And to make your wreath truly mouthwatering, add some dried fruits and spices: scarlet chilli peppers, dried slices of orange and limes, or even small apples look deliciously festive.
